Jency Griffin Hogan - CEO and Acting Instructor

Jency originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, graduating college with a degree from Louisiana Tech University in theatre, then acted in Los Angeles for 8 years before returning to once again be a vital part of Louisiana's film community. She has produced short films such as Madeline's Oil, With My Soul, Painted Parakeets, The Verses, Bamboo House, Mommy Makeover and Seed of the Free. She has recently co-directed and helped produce a western epic called Devil's Hitching Post. She has also worked on the producer team of Blaze a bio-pic directed by Ethan Hawke and recently she has been working as a reoccurring character on the TNT summer hit Claws where she plays Vera Minder. Days of Daisy is Hogan’s first feature film to produce and put out into the world. Jency opened Love Acting to create a space for foundational acting training here in the south where the film industry is growing rapidly and opportunities for Louisiana native actors and actresses can become readily available. Jency and her husband built a state of the art studio to be a creative hub for Baton Rouge. She wants to spread her knowledge and training with anyone who aspires to be a professional actor.

Alyson is from Louisiana and graduated from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts with an associates degree in Film and Television. She is a trained professional film and television actress specializing in Meisner Technique and Audition Technique while simultaneously advancing her skills on set and behind the camera as well. She is currently the Executive Assistant, acting instructor and the Kids Acting program Director for Love Acting pursing her dreams to teach kids and prepare them for the film industry. She utilizes her skills from the I AM Empowering the Next Generation program to conduct a classroom education with focus on social and emotional learning. Her most recent roles in film can be seen on Bet, Don’t Fold, and behind the scenes/cameo for the short film Mommy Makeover. Alyson continues to grow her studies with the company and mold the foundational acting education for adolescents who work toward being on camera actors. Above all, Alyson is dedicated to being a great mother to her beautiful daughter, Azelle.

Paige Gagliano - Acting Instructor

She holds a Bachelor’s of Science and a Master in Education from LSU.  Paige has over 30 years of experience in directing and teaching professional, community and educational theatre. In those years she has directed over 70 theatrical productions to critical and commercial acclaim for organizations including Louisiana State University, Louisiana Public Broadcasting, Theatre Baton Rouge, Baker Little Theatre, Playmakers of Baton Rouge, St. James Episcopal Church, LSU Union Theatre, The Heymann Center in Lafayette, The Strand Theatre in Shreveport and The Rosa Hart Theatre in Lake Charles. She is the Development Director for Manship Theatre, The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, and Theatre Baton Rouge.  Teaching remains Paige’s passion. Paige taught and directed at Episcopal School of Baton Rouge from 1993-2001.  Paige is blessed with a wonderful husband and three amazing children.

Melinda Walsh - Vocal Coach

Melinda was the on-camera spokesperson for a series of successful radio and TV campaigns for a regional auto insurance company, headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In addition, she designed and implemented their marketing and messaging strategy, which grew the company from startup revenues to $80 million within 5 years. Walsh shares her expertise gained from years of designing effective stories in the marketing and advertising industry and how taking command of a company story can lead to explosive transformation. During her career as a marketer and film professional, she has written many TV & radio commercials and directed and acted in feature films. She has learned that the same tools used to write a compelling script for the screen can be used to style your business’ story and bring about transformational growth and success. 30,000 voice projects later, She still loves it as much as the first voiceover she did!

Bill Martin Williams - Acting Instructor

Bill is an acting instructor as Love Acting teaching Fearless Acting for adults.

Rhonda Nichols - Audition Taping

Rhonda has taped auditions for 10 years and is the primary audition taper for those who book professional audition taping through love Acting.

Nya Skipper - Media Editor

Nya is a Baton Rouge Magnet High School summa cum laude alumni and a junior at Louisiana State University pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Digital Art and Engineering. Her studies are concentrated in 2D and 3D design, graphic design, and digital art using programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Maya 2022. She has been apart of the Louisiana Individualized Education Program through out high school for Talented Theatre. She continues to be active in Baton Rouge’s theatre community by being a member of Theatre Baton Rouge’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Her most recent roles in live theatre would be the musicals Sweet Charity as Helene and The Rocky Horror Show as Magenta at Theatre Baton Rouge. Nya will be making her first Art Museum debut in January 2023 with Tulane University’s Newcomb Exhibition Persister Incarcerated. She is enthusiastic to pursue a career in the visual and performing arts in any way possible.
